I am looking forward to rejoining the Tidewater community as a Primary Educator. I have spent my time away from Tidewater helping my children adjust to public school, home schooling three out of four children during the pandemic, volunteering in our local schools, subbing in a variety of classrooms, leading a Girl Scout troop, and getting my Maryland Teaching license. For those of you who may not know me I am a mother to four children, an Early Childhood Special Education educator, a Montessori Primary teacher, an intermittent CrossFitter, an explorer of the outdoors, a lover of animals, a listener, a problem solver, a learner, a collaborator, and so much more. I look forward to working with you in preparing a loving and supportive environment in which to guide your child on their path to transform the world.
ββAn education capable of saving humanity is no small undertaking; it involves the spiritual development of man, the enhancement of his value as an individual, and the preparation of young people to understand the times in which they live.β - Dr. Maria Montessori, Education and Peace
