Alisa earned a dual Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She received her Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Reading from Towson University. She currently holds certification from the American Montessori Society in Elementary Levels I & II from the Institute for Advanced Montessori Studies. Alisa is a Maryland Master Naturalist through the University of Maryland Extension Service Program and holds a Maryland certificate for Environmental Education from the College of Notre Dame and Maryland Association of Environmental and Outdoor Educators. Alisa joined Tidewater in 2020 and enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, and kayaking.
